Our Truro rehearsal room at the iconic Old Bakery Studios is right in the heart of Cornwall, with excellent transport links and easy access by car or public transport. Fully equipped with quality gear including drum kit, amps and PA, it’s a hassle-free space for bands, solo artists and musicians of all styles. Acoustically treated for great sound and a comfortable rehearsal experience, all you need to do is turn up, plug in & play.

Fully Equipped

Like all of our rooms, our Truro room offers a turn up, plug in & play approach to rehearsing allowing you to spend less time setting up and more time rehearsing.

You’re welcome to use our equipment, bring your own, or mix & match like bringing your own amp heads and breakables. All that we ask is that the room is ready to use for the next band when you finish.

Please note: we don’t supply drum sticks, instrument cables or microphones – everything else you need should be in the room and ready to use.

Sounds Good, Looks Good, Feels Good

Measuring around 7x5m, our Truro room sits between our other two spaces in size, making it ideal for solo musicians, duos, and bands of up to 7–8 members. It’s been carefully treated to sound great and provide a comfortable environment, with work continuing behind the scenes to refine the space.

While the focus so far has been on sound and soundproofing, the room will be fully redecorated in early 2026, so for now it may feel a little rough around the edges.

We don’t recommend using the Truro room for recording, as it’s next to a main road and shares the site with other businesses. If recording is your goal, our Redruth facility is a better fit.

Additional Facilities

Parking

Our Truro room has access to the Old Bakery Studio’s shared car park, located right outside of our entrance. This has 16 unallocated parking spaces which are shared by the other businesses on site. When available you are welcome to use these spaces, but these are extremely limited during office hours. Availability frees up a little outside of office hours so if you are in for an evening rehearsal you should have less difficulty, but we cannot guarantee a space.

If you are rehearsing during the day please travel in as few a cars as possible and park considerately to the other businesses.

Parking is available near Tescos and is a 5 minute walk from the room. Our advise is to turn up 10 minutes before the start of your session and unload before finding parking – please do not park for more than 20 minutes on the roadside.

Refreshments

We offer free teas and coffees, and have soft drinks and crisps available to purchase on site.

Free WiFi

The room has free WiFi available to use during your session for downloading backing tracks or taking a break in between songs.
